Uzbekistan is an ancient country with a rich history and unique cultural heritage. I have visited Uzbekistan many times. However, in recent years, your country’s relations with the outside world have been expanding. The new leadership of Uzbekistan states that the doors are open not only to all foreign partners but also to us scientists and foreign researchers. In particular, I believe that the negotiations held to further develop cooperation between the International Islamic Studies Academy of Uzbekistan and the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies will yield the expected results.
