International Relations
The Department of International Relations was established in August 2018 within the Faculty of Islamic Economics and International Relations. The department considers its priority task to be the training of specialists who meet the demands of our country and the international labor market, possessing modern knowledge and practical skills.
The department trains bachelors and masters in International Relations. The educational process includes teaching subjects such as the theory of international relations, world politics, diplomacy, international organizations, international law, regional studies, and other specialty-related disciplines.
The curricula are aimed at developing students' competencies in analyzing international political processes, conducting scientific research, analytical thinking, preparing analytical reports and official documents, as well as developing practical decisions. Graduates of the department are trained as qualified specialists who, in addition to Uzbek and Russian languages, master at least one Eastern and one Western language and are capable of effective activity in the international arena.
The department employs Doctors of Science (DSc), PhDs, professors, associate professors, and qualified teaching staff. The department's scientific potential is 100 percent. Additionally, leading practicing specialists from the field are involved in the teaching process. Professors and teachers regularly engage in scientific research, improve their qualifications at leading scientific and educational centers in the republic and abroad, and widely implement advanced pedagogical technologies and innovative approaches in the educational process.
The department consistently works to enhance scientific potential, develop international academic cooperation, improve the quality of education, and train competitive specialists with high professional and moral qualities.
